We visually inspect your system for any obvious freon leaks- We mechanically check the freon and can add either R22 or R410a depending on its specifications (additional price applies to add freon)
- We check the blower to make sure its working right
- We check your electrical systems and connections
- We clean the outside coil with water. Only the dirtiest coils need an industrial foaming coil cleaner and if necessary it will run an additional $16.
- We inspect all your duct work for any air leaks
- Inspect your drain system. If it needs to be blown out we’ll use our CO2 gas solution which is $12
- We’ll make sure your thermostat is operating properly
- We’ll check your filter
The catch to the $75 special is two-fold.
- This special does not apply to broken down systems. If your system is broken down you don’t need a tune-up, you need a repair. Repairs start at our one-hour minimum rate of $85.
- This will be scheduled at some point in the near future. We don’t usually do tune-ups on the same day like we would a service call, unless our schedule allows for it.
FREE INSTALLATION ON A NEW DIGITAL THERMOSTAT
While we are out there if you want us to install a new digital electronic backlit thermostat we’ll waive the $75 install fee and put it in for just $87.50 which is the cost of the thermostat. We carry these on our truck so you don’t have to make a decision until we get there. We strongly recommend switching to a digital thermostat is you don’t have one because this will save you on your electricity usage. Older thermostats can only get within a 4 degree window of the actual temperature where the new digital technology allows you to be dead on accurate. This keeps your unit from running when it doesn’t need to and it shuts off when its supposed to saving you expensive energy fuel charges.
